Eve's Chocolate Chip Cookies!

You will need:

One cup unsalted butter
One cup organic cane sugar
One free-range egg
One teaspoon vanilla essence
One and two-thirds cups of organic winter wheat pastry flour
One teaspoon baking powder
One pinch of turmeric
One 12 ounce bag of semisweet chocolate chips

Then:

Slowly melt the butter in a large saucepan
Add the sugar and stir into the melted butter
Remove the saucepan from the heat

Lightly beat the egg with the vanilla essence
Add the beaten egg mixture gradually to the saucepan, mixing with a wooden spatula

Sift the flour thoroughly with the baking powder and turmeric (cinnamon and ginger also work well)
Stir in the flour to the saucepan mixture, a scoop at a time

Finally add the chocolate chips, stirring them in well

Place the saucepan in the fridge for at least an hour

Heat the oven to 350F

Place spoonfuls of cookie mixture spaced apart onto a greased baking sheet

Bake for 7 - 11 minutes - until cookies are browning

Remove cookies from baking sheet and cool on a wire tray

Enjoy!
